June 14, 2011 – Commercial Alliance has surpassed a major milestone in servicing more than $150 Million in business loans on behalf of its member credit unions. May 26th and June 9, 2011 – Commercial Alliance hosted business seminars on SBA 504 Refinancing. Various credit unions from across Michigan attended to learn from Mike Ufford and Eric Kehler from Michigan Certified Development Corporation. MCDC is certified by the Small Business Administration and assists in packaging commercial loan requests to be presented to the SBA for funding approval for small and medium sized companies. The seminar covered the different services available as well as the different forms and processes through which the development corporation operates.


October 21, 2010 – Commercial Alliance hosted the “Commercial Loan Environmental Due Diligence” seminar. Over X credit unions from across Michigan attend to learn from real estate due diligence expert Jayne Schoenborn of Superior Environmental, which provides consulting, assessment, engineering, and construction services throughout the Midwest and North East. The seminar covered the different environmental reports and processes, the importance of environmental reporting in the loan process, as well as why environmental due diligence is critical in dealing with foreclosures.
